It would be cool if you could get an almost BiS helm killing Diablo in Nightmare. D3 feels a lot more "tiered" than D2 did you basically have Inferno gear and then everything else. The two biggest things I miss from D2 is the feeling of a massive world/universe that you are in (imagine if the tortuous jungles of D2 A3 were elite intense farming areas in D3 that just went on for randomly generated forever) and of course, the items. But given the way the pretty ingenious mechanics of NV and Paragon lvls, I think they will get there. Honestly it was a pretty sophisticated design decision.īlizzard has created a really great "machine" with D3 all of the core elements are really awesome its just the content that isnt there yet, at least for me. Also, the Paragon system was a really graceful solution to multiple problems, mainly MF swapping and endgame progression. The skill system is good too and the NV stack system really is an ingenious solution to add semi-permanence to a build. It's so awesome, its so much fun and its fluid and fast paced. The biggest thing for me in D3 is the combat/gameplay. And you shouldn't be taking damage anyway, if you play hardcore, I would just permanently walk (not run) so that you don't get too far ahead of your skeletons. But since you're going to be amping everything, you'll really never want to cast iron maiden. Iron Golem is kind of weak, really the only use is to combine it with iron maiden for free heals. The holy fire aura is a great way to get everything agro's on your golem so you can easily group them up for curses and CE, but its less useful if you are using skeletons since you can't get all the agro on the fire golem easily. It dies really easily, but its slow affects bosses, which can be useful.įire golem is good, but its more useful for bone necros. Crushing blow is the most useful, but even trash rares with chance on hit to cast chain lightning are fun.Ĭlay golem is useful.

It's probably the most generally useful one to have as a fishymancer, the main problem with iron golem is that it is a commitment to not use any other golem so as to not lose your item. Last updated at 14:00:17 UTC Weekly Help Desk RAGE Loot Thread Trade Thread
